For this scarf, I initially wanted to pick a simple yet elegant men’s scarf pattern (there aren’t many, to my surprise). I had few other ideas on my mind like Simple Aran scarf and even tested a sample, but it’s way too complicated and I’m short on time. This one, like the name suggested, requires no purl therefore it is really a fast knit for a scarf.
Modifications
- Provisional cast on using crochet chain method. Once the scarf reached to the desired length, bind both edge off in pattern so that both side are identical.
- In every row, slip the first stitch purlwise with yarn in back, and purl the last stitch. This creates a super neat edge. (Thanks to other Ravelers’ notes)
