I casted on yesterday and almost finished the back yoke, but I decided to frog and start over because it looks too busy. The red-orange GENMOU yarn is still too thin compared to the Noro yarn, which has really inconsistent thickness. Sigh.

About the solution - I went to my LYS and found a matching mohair with almost the exact same colour (I’m happy with the current tone and don’t want any change). By holding two strands together, this will make the red-orange yarn thicker and hopefully strengthen the contrast.
