Johanne cardigan
IT’S FANTASITIC! I love the fit and cut so much. By combining with the natural, undyed French yarn, this is such a classic piece that can be paired with anything.
Pretty harbour, Gresta, and finally Charade
So I frogged the Pretty Harbour socks for my mom again because it doesn’t look as what I expected. I want it to have a more delicate look and this socks just didn’t have the feeling to it.
I also looked into Gresta from 52 Weeks of Socks and cast on a few rows, but it was too much hasssle as a gift within a short timeframe (too much purl! the background basically are all purl stitches). I want a more classic and elegant socks pattern so this is also a no.
I was thinking to go back to Herimione’s Everyday Sock because I love the patridge texture and it looks good on my solid colour socks. The only thing I’m hesitate was to knit a pattern the second time, this worried me a little until I found another free pattern called Charade - classic and very easy, no purl involved. I think this is it!
